In the organizer's words:

We cordially invite you to the third part of our event series "The good life in times of crisis"! On Saturday, December 13 from 6 pm! As always, the venue is KLuG e.V. at Liebigstraße 257, 50739 Cologne.

We have come up with something special for the end of the year: we will watch the documentary "Scars of Grow" together. The film ties in thematically with our last event and impressively shows the real contradictions of the idea of "green growth":

While mines for critical metals are being built in Europe in the name of the green turnaround and mining companies are positioning themselves as indispensable partners in the fight against climate change, a Spanish farmer and two indigenous reindeer herders in Sweden are fighting to preserve their way of life.

On the one hand, we want to reiterate the need for fundamental social change. On the other hand, we want to end with a positive outlook for the coming year: From 2026, we will continue our series and turn our attention to concrete measures and projects in the post-growth movement.

After the film, we will engage in a discussion that will hopefully get us all looking forward to next year.

You weren't at the first events? That doesn't matter at all! Our series is designed in such a way that the individual evenings are thematically linked, but also stand on their own.
