DAS HEINZ ERHARDT PROJEKT - AUGEN AUF UND DURCH

An evening full of humor, swing and surprises: In 2026 , the HEINZ ERHARDT project "Augen auf und durch" will go on a major tour - with a new line-up, the legendary Glenn Miller Orchestra and even a world premiere of a previously unreleased title by Heinz Erhardt.

At the heart of the program are three audience favourites: Cordula Stratmann, Dietmar Bär and Stefan Gwildis. Together they revive the lyrics, songs and unique wit of Heinz Erhardt - sometimes charming, sometimes swinging, sometimes full of soul.

The stars will be accompanied by the Glenn Miller Orchestra under the direction of Jörg Achim Keller. He arranged all the songs in this program, including the classics "Fräulein Mabel", "Dann rege dich nicht auf" and "Agamemnon", which are performed in rousing arrangements. The 17-piece orchestra provides an unmistakable big band sound. In addition, an Erhard poem set to music by Stefan Gwildis enriches the program with a very special title.

Heinz Erhardt's humor is still unique today: playful, double entendre and always with a twinkle in his eye. Hardly any other entertainer after him mastered the subtleties of comic and often musical communication with the audience so perfectly in order to amuse and entertain them. Even today, at least two generations after his death, old and young alike still enjoy the sketches, films, songs and witty poems of the "Uncle of the Nation", as the "FAZ" called him. In "Augen auf und durch", his timeless sketches, poems and chansons meet the energy of a big band and the stage presence of three exceptional artists.

In the beginning, Nicola Tyszkiewicz, the granddaughter, asked Vladyslav Sendecki, former pianist of the NDR Big Band, to "just play" the then unknown Erhardt pieces that were found in the attic of Erhardt's red brick house in Wellingsbüttel when the house was being cleared out.

Over many days, a full-length program was "filtered" from this, the essence of this obituary chapter, so to speak: a concert experience that combines humour, swing and soul - lively, surprising and guaranteed to be unforgettable.
