Das rollende Sofa: Krimilesung mit Turid Müller

The ella Kulturhaus Langenhorn and the Bücherhalle Langenhorn invite you to a special literary evening as part of the popular series "Das rollende Sofa".

Turid Müller will read from her new novel "Unter dem Strand".

The crime novel, which will be published by Piper on April 2, 2026, tells the story of a journalist who comes across an unsolved case on the Baltic Sea coast - and encounters the shadows of the past. The Cap Arcona disaster takes center stage, a harrowing event from the final days of the Second World War that still has repercussions today.

With "Unter dem Strand", the Hamburg-based author is launching a new series. Turid Müller was already nominated for the GLAUSER Prize for her debut Im Schatten der Insel. Careful historical research and a keen sense of social issues also characterize her new work.

The reading will be followed by insights into the memorial work in Langenhorn and the surrounding area - a contribution to a lively culture of remembrance in the district.
