On Saturday, November 29, we will continue our series of events on digital self-defense. This time there will be a presentation on the topic of file and hard disk encryption. In the subsequent workshop part, we will help you to set it up on your devices.

As always, participation in the event is free of charge and possible without registration. No previous knowledge is required.

The lecture topic in detail:

• File & hard disk encryption: How does encryption work? How can I encrypt files? How can I encrypt an entire hard disk? What needs to be considered?

There will be an opportunity to ask questions after the presentation. If you would like to set up the encryption with our support in the subsequent workshop part, please bring your laptops and, if necessary, data carriers (USB sticks, external hard disks).

The event will take place at Inspirata.
