Prof. Michel Friedman is one of the most prominent voices in the fight for human rights and democratic values. Together with Victoria Reichelt, he will critically discuss the state of our democratic community - and encourage us to take responsibility.

Prof. Dr. jur. dr. phil. Michel Friedman is a Franco-German lawyer, author, publicist and presenter. Born in Paris in 1956 as the son of Jewish Holocaust survivors, he is committed to human rights and has been a member of the Board of Trustees of "Places of German Democratic History" and the Jewish Museum Berlin since October 2025. He became known for his insistent fight for democracy in talk shows and through the publication of his books, in which he addresses topics such as anti-Semitism and social responsibility. Since January 2025, he has been editor of the magazine "Aufbau", the Jewish monthly magazine.

Victoria Reichelt works as a journalist and presenter for various public broadcasters. She has hosted the politics format "Die da Oben" for funk, in the associated podcast "Absolute Mehrheit" Victoria discusses with politicians and for the 2025 federal elections she will be interviewing the leading candidates for the format "Kreuzverhör". On ZDFheute live, the interactive YouTube format from ZDFheute, Victoria sorts out the latest news with various experts and politicians. Since April 2025, she has been providing content on "vicas.takes" that combines pop culture and politics. The journalist also talks about political issues that affect her generation on her own social channels.
