In the organizer's words:

We are delighted to have Martyna Linartas as a guest at DENKRAUM. The political scientist and author has been working on issues of wealth concentration and social justice for many years.

Economic inequality characterizes our society: a small part of the population has large fortunes, while many people have hardly any savings.

• How does this unequal distribution come about?
• What role do inheritances, political decisions and historical developments play?
• What consequences does inequality have for our society?
• And what could fairer solutions look like?

In line with the Spielfeld topics, we are of course looking in particular at what these mechanisms mean for people with a history of migration. Because one thing is clear: people who are already disadvantaged are even more affected by inequality.
