Power polka, disco folk, Latin vibes and glittering new German wave anarchy: everything is possible in the charmingly chaotic band universe of "der Katze & die Hund" - and preferably at the same time. Moments, impressions and encounters that the stray street music pack has soaked up in hundreds of performances in the squares and alleyways of Europe are processed into danceable confetti with smiling ease and without shyness, thrown wildly into the air and then set alight. In their luggage: tongue-in-cheek, endearing stories of longing and failure as well as lots of instruments such as violin, double bass, guitar, glockenspiel, accordion, small green children's keyboards and a travel drum kit. Crying with laughter, escalating with devotion: Come here, come closer, dance along!
