No 96 season comes to an end without the groundsman putting the lid on it. For more than 20 years, columnists Uwe Janssen and Bruno Brauer have been following the Reds' fortunes in the Hannoversche Allgemeine Zeitung on a weekly basis, and at the end of the season they take stock live. This season is no exception, where it's more about promotion and less about relegation, where we rejoice over Titzitaka and wonder about Panenken, Tomiaken and Chakrounen. The groundsman shaves the team with a fine blade, looks back on derby heroes and on a super-man who grew wings at Christmas time. And in between, the groundsman even sings.
