Concert on the historical reproduction grand piano

It is often the hidden that exerts a special attraction. For example, the mechanical Steck "Duo-Art" 1926, on which music is performed without a visible player. In this early form of mechanical sound recording, the pianist's playing is transferred to a paper roll, which - when inserted into a corresponding instrument - allows the music to be played back. In our event series "The Invisible Pianist", we present our treasure trove of piano rolls from the German Music Archive.
