Korsi presents a night where music moves across roots, stories, and sound.
November 29, 2025 - Lutherkirche Cologne @suedstadtleben_koeln
Doors 19:00 | Start 20:00
Korsi invites you all curious people to an evening where music travels between places, memories, and voices. Two solo performances by Derya Yıldırım and Makan Ashgvari, revealing how tradition and experiment can come together.
Derya Yıldırım gives new life to Anatolian folk songs with her voice and Bağlama. She approaches these melodies not as historical relics but as living expressions that continue to evolve. Sharing her knowledge with younger musicians, she keeps this musical language in motion.
Makan Ashgvari is a singer, songwriter, electronic musician and storyteller, born in Tehran and traveling with music. Makan's live acts are often described as dramatic, engaging and emotional, on themes like belonging, immigration, love and discrimination. Each performance is personal and different, inviting listeners into a space where sound and story merge.
After the solo sets, Burakete from Süperdisko closes the night with a DJ set that links folk, electronic, and global rhythms. What begins in quiet reflection ends in movement.
