Traces and Scratches | Traces and Scratches
The images of strange dreams haunt the edges of time. Stuttering and stumbling, they flicker through the unstable reality and reach the limits of their resolution. You may not remember these images, but they will remember you forever.
The margins of time are haunted by images of foreign dreams. Stuttering and stumbling, they flicker through an unstable reality and reach their resolution limits. You may not recall these images, but they will forever recall you.
Text: Julia Jesionek
The competition is the largest section and the heart of the festival. Every year, a team of five curators sifts through a huge number of the latest films under 45 minutes that were made in Germany or with German production participation in order to put together a balanced and heterogeneous program for our audience. Neither themes nor genres limit the selection.
In addition to the awarding of three prizes by an expert jury, the audience can also vote for the Audience Award.
Curation: Johannes Duncker, Mikkel Haynes, Julia Jesionek, Jennifer Jones, Eckhard Plöttner, Nicole Rebmann
A selection of the films will be screened in barrier-free versions in the KFFK+ program
