DIE BUNTE SONNE - Ein Streifzug durch die Natur des Lichts

In the organizer's words:

The light of stars, galaxies and star clusters, even luminous or reflective celestial bodies or living creatures in flora and fauna. Hardly any other natural phenomenon influences people and our lives as much as light. In addition to visible light, people have made use of invisible light waves such as radio waves, microwaves, infrared light, ultraviolet light, X-rays and gamma rays in a variety of ways following their discovery and research over the last three centuries. "Major Tom" introduces you to the receiving devices and ways of perceiving the different types of light in everyday life and in astronomy and provides you with current, surprising and interesting insights into the multicolored palette of light.

With ticket: Lecture
With combined ticket: Lecture and subsequent sky observation with the telescope, or visit to the observatory if the sky is cloudy.
