Die dicke Trompete - blurred edges

In the organizer's words:

THE FAT TRUMPET - PULLING THE STRINGS!

In the 2nd episode of the 2nd season of the DICKEN TROMPETE, three new female musicians are back in action. One day, Hamburg's free improvising ladies' orchestra will reach symphonic proportions!

This time, the fat trumpet will come up with lots and lots of string playing. Will the ladies sound delicate and angelic? It could well happen, but it is more likely that they will play the strings firmly and anarchistically. Singing saw, prepared and amplified violin, the small but fat beak trumpet and saxophone provide wild accents.

This session is once again dedicated to its namesake: the unknown Spelunken trumpeter from the silent movie "Die Carmen von St. Pauli" (D 1928). We don't know what she and the many other musicians from the ladies' bands of the past sounded like. But we do know that the five musicians will improvise and experiment to their heart's content in this small format.
