Travel photographer and filmmaker Matthias Vogel flies with you to the Sheep Islands.

18 islands that were once occupied by the Vikings and whose traces can still be seen today. A lake that floats above the sea, the roaring Atlantic, wild waterfalls in the sunshine and snowstorms, isolated villages and the place where James Bond once died. These are just some of the trails we follow this evening. From the capital Torshavn, we set off for remote corners of this island world and go on hikes far away from civilization.

Matthias Vogel will show you how people live in such isolation and the challenges they face in their everyday lives. Dimensions that are difficult to compare with our society, but whose fascination triggers wanderlust. He gives practical tips on how to discover this island world independently.
