20 years of DER NORDEN LIEST: The fall tour of NDR-Kultur
For 20 years, Germany's best authors have been going on tour for NDR under the title "Der Norden liest" - and four of them are now celebrating in the Literary Salon. Do we need to introduce this line-up? Certainly not! It is well known that Caroline Wahl has produced one of the most successful bestsellers of recent years with her debut novel 22 Bahnen . That Feridun Zaimoglu and Saša Stanišić are among the best German authors, even though one was born in Turkey and the other in Bosnia, is clear to anyone who has read Kanak Sprak and Leyla or Vor dem Fest and Herkunft. And the fact that Karen Duve has been one of the all-time greats since her Regenroman can remain unchallenged here anyway, guaranteed by the master of ceremonies of the big anniversary party: Alexander Solloch. The literary editor of NDR Kultur will let his four guests have their say. And they will ask: Why the hell are you so good at writing novels? And what has actually changed in the last 20 years?

The event will take place in the Audimax in the Welfenschloss!
