The forefather of horror, Edgar Allen Poe, also wrote the first modern detective story. He published The Double Murder in the Rue Morgue in 1841, in which the eccentric analyst C. Auguste Dupin solves mysterious murder cases with the help of his brilliant powers of observation. You can now experience this first detective story in literature as a radio play. Live in our cellar! Watch the young players talking, playing, making music, snorting, groaning, murdering, dying, investigating and despairing!
