Femicides and other forms of violence against women have increased significantly in recent years. Last year, for example, a woman was killed by her (ex-)partner almost every day. What can we actively do and what help is available for women affected?

Presentation by Dr. Marie-Luise Löffler (City of Stuttgart, Department for Equal Opportunities) on the legal basis of gender-specific violence with basic statistical material, the structural starting position and the key points of the Istanbul Convention and the recently passed Protection against Violence Act

Presentation of a support app for women under threat

Discussion with representatives of women's organizations and a representative from perpetrator work

In cooperation with the Soroptimist Club Stuttgart Zwei and the Department for Equal Opportunities of the City of Stuttgart
