The weirdest movies of all time

Thommi Baake presents an explosive, unique mix of films. With his two old projectors, which stand in the auditorium and rattle away with relish, he shows a potpourri of bizarre, beautiful and unintentionally funny films from the 1960s and 70s.

Classic educational films alternate with bizarre short versions of feature films from the 1970s. Traffic films are interspersed with music clips, animated films and karate classics, and there are also private films.

These are joined by entertainment gems such as songs, film reviews or reports from actors or stuntmen (all by Thommi Baake) from the films shown. Charming dialogues with the audience, anecdotes and a quiz with detailed questions about the films and "exceptionally interesting prizes" round off the evening.

Thommi Baake

is an actor, presenter, musician, author, cineaste - and above all an entertainer. Born in Bad Arolsen in 1962, he was already playing theater during his school days and founded his first folk band. He has been performing professionally on stage since 1988. In 1992, he was awarded the 1st Audience and Jury Prize at the Cologne Comedy Festival. He has appeared at the Quatsch Comedy Club and on RTL Samstag Nacht, among others. His humor and talent for improvisation are legendary - in his solo programs and, of course, in the Super 8 Show.
