A comedy about everyday issues that deliberately starts where we are all sitting there laughing and wondering:
Is this about saving face or preserving a marriage?
Who is actually to blame for the way things are, or rather: for what led up to now?
Is it really about getting out of the dilemma or just getting out of the therapy session in one piece?

We are secret observers of a couples therapy session in which a woman and a man (should) want to overcome their problems with the help of a counselor. As is so often the case in life, whether this can succeed depends on the will that is "invested" in each case. SHE always knows in advance what he is going to say and is not sparing with examples and an endless flow of words. HE blatantly expresses his displeasure and acceptance of the status "well, that's fine" by ignoring his wife and generally having reservations about therapies. "The Miracle Exercise" tells the story of whether something could still work and if so, how.
