a co-production of
DIPHTHONG (Nikos Konstantakis and Stephanie Felber) and studiobühneköln
an AUSWÄRTSSPIEL by studiobühneköln in the Alte Feuerwache
Ageing is a universal but often hidden experience. In a society that idealizes youth, the voices and bodies of older people are often pushed into the background. But what if we understand ageing not as a farewell, but as an integral part of being? If we recognize the traces of time on our bodies not as a flaw, but as a manifestation of our experiences? Inspired by Giannis Ritsos' Moonlight Sonata (1956), Time in My Hair explores the tension between a dancer's personal memories and society's perception of ageing. The DIPHTHONG artists' collective presents a physical reflection on transience, decay and visibility.
