DIO Alive

Dio Alive - a tribute to Ronnie James Dio and his legendary years with Rainbow and Black Sabbath. Founded in 2023, the band led by the exceptional Dutch singer John "Jaycee" Cuijpers has set itself the goal of reviving the work of the musician, who died in 2010, from his creative phases with Rainbow and Black Sabbath as well as his solo albums.

"Man on the Silver Mountain", "Holy Diver", "Heaven and Hell", "Stargazer" - the musical journey through time is diverse and includes radio-friendly hits as well as dramatic epics and beautiful ballads.

"Ronnie James Dio was undoubtedly one of the most important singers in hard rock and heavy metal," says John Cuijpers. "Our aim is to share his timeless music and his passion with the audience."

With a voice impressively close to the original, Cuijpers embodies his idol on stage like no other. At his side is guitar virtuoso Frank Pané, who has already shared the stage with Ian Paice, Bobby Kimball and Dave Bickler.

With an energetic performance and a respectful look at Dio's musical legacy, Dio Alive promises an unforgettable concert experience with a clear message: Long live rock'n'roll!
