Dissident Club – Buchvorstellung mit dem pakistanischen Journalisten Taha Siddiqui

On Monday, August 18, 2025, the recently published graphic novel "Dissident Club" will be presented at the Pöge-Haus in Leipzig. The book tells the story of Pakistani journalist Taha Siddiqui's life, his emancipation from his Islamist family environment and his journalistic work, which brings him into conflict with the military. He eventually had to flee, but remained politically active and founded the "Dissident Club" in Paris.

At the invitation of Projekt 48 and Alibri Verlag, Taha Siddiqui and translator Andreas Kyriacou will present the book and provide information about the author, his story and the political background.
