There can be many reasons to start a band. Maybe it's the desire
to find a common language. One that can be more intimate, more poetic, more precise or
more vague. One that evolves, just like those who speak it. Shaped
by encounters, always in the making. In the case of the four-piece Zurich band
District Five and its members, Vojko Huter, Paul Amereller, Tapiwa Svosve
and Xaver Rüegg, this is the case: the multi-instrumentalists have been meeting in the
