The 9-piece band clearly draws on the classic rock'n'roll of the 50s and 60s, swing and country, without forgetting their old roots in punk rock. As wild as this mixture may seem at first glance, DOC HORN & THE HORNBABES succeed in taking their audience beyond genre boundaries and giving them an evening full of unbridled energy. Johnny Cash meets The Ramones - and then Elvis and The Clash drop by.

The powerful front end of the group is formed by the family band around the Doc and his two daughters Hannah and Christina, whose polyphonic vocal parts are the unmistakable trademark and heart of the band. DOC HORN & THE HORNBABES ' distinctive sound is provided by the radiant horns and the crisp playing of drums, double bass and guitar, which caress the vintage heart but still come across as modern in their own way.
