The constantly angry priest Buckholz legitimizes his moralizing leadership by possessing a straw from Jesus' nativity scene. However, the relic disappears and only the nefarious landlady of the vicious local tavern can be the thief! After all, she is a witch who is in league with Satan. Evidence can be found. Into this agitated atmosphere steps the old werewolf Thies, who carries very special relics with him: the devil's testicles! And they have an aphrodisiac effect.

The Oscar-winning FLOW opened the gates to the Latvian animated film scene, and DOG OF GOD strides confidently through them. In this folkloristic horror grotesque, superstitious delusion and feverish, dreamlike lust balance each other out - and unload in an orgiastic finale.
