A band like Drug Church is the result of having a passion for music and not taking themselves too seriously. The fact that this authenticity has been the key to the band's success plays into their musical and personal looseness. Their sound - a mix of 1980s alternative rock, punk, grunge and modern post-hardcore - has never been completely fixed since the release of their first album. Their personal, honest and at times humorous and satirical lyrics have also made the band a celebrated name within the modern punk and hardcore scene in the USA, quickly gaining international acclaim. Drug Church have also long since arrived in Europe with their laid-back, not-too-serious image.
