In the organizer's words:

"Anima and Natura" - Two artistic positions in the field of tension between man and landscape

The exhibition Anima and Natura presents two contemporary artistic perspectives that deal with the relationship between inner experience and the external environment. One position is dedicated to the depiction of forest landscapes, which can be read as symbolic spaces for states of mind and closeness to nature. The other focuses on the human figure, whose presence and physicality raise psychological and existential questions.

The exhibition title refers to concepts that are deeply rooted in the history of culture and art: Anima as an expression of inner, archetypal soul forces - including in the psychology of C. G. Jung -, Natura as a multidimensional landscape between real space and projection surface, as it has been repeatedly processed artistically since Romanticism. Both concepts are equally important here and are brought into an open dialog in the artists' works.
