DUST BOLT - Tradition in the blood, future in sight

"Breaking clichés, preserving traditions" - DUST BOLT have been living this credo since day one. Active for many years, with five albums behind them and countless shows worldwide, they are now one of the most relevant and hard-working thrash metal bands in Germany - and long since beyond. Dust Bolt stand for true band spirit, uncompromising energy and the firm will to lead thrash metal into the next age.

"The modern vision of thrash metal needs to be redefined. It's 2026 - it's time for the next generation," sums up frontman Lenny. From packed houses to international tours of the USA and Asia to the biggest festival stages: Dust Bolt have experienced every variety of being a musician. Having grown together as a band since their teenage years, today they combine their experience, know-how and attitude into a clear mission: to make thrash metal relevant, tangible and sustainable again.

While AI and arbitrariness are increasingly flooding the metal market, Dust Bolt consciously focus on craftsmanship, songs, riffs and raw human energy. Without nostalgic copying, but with deep respect for their idols, they transport the essence of the genre into the present. Honest, direct and with international aspirations. Dust Bolt see themselves as representatives of a new generation of thrash metal bands that are being recognized and taken seriously globally.

Their success proves them right: the band's latest self-released single "Ghost On My Screen" reached fans worldwide. The response was clear - many see Dust Bolt as one of the few bands that can credibly continue the legacy of greats such as Metallica, Slayer or Anthrax.

Shortly after their formation, Dust Bolt - still underage at the time - won the Wacken Metal Battle Germany. This was followed by record deals, international tours and a steady rise. Their last album "Sound & Fury" (#17 in the German album charts) marked a deliberate turning point: bigger songs, stronger hooks, a more modern appearance - without denying their roots. Dust Bolt impressively proved that they want more than just the underground and that they can also make thrash metal work on big stages and for a wider audience.

The new album will be released in the fall - and with it the next big step. Dust Bolt clearly see themselves as the spearhead of the new thrash metal generation: internationally oriented, artistically mature and ready to lead the genre into a new era. Old fans are picked up, new ones won over - and thrash metal is given a voice that is loud, relevant and contemporary.
