Eala

In the organizer's words:

Eala is an entertainer and musician who makes complex emotions and everyday experiences of young people accessible in cheeky, sarcastic lyrics. It is allowed to dance, to laugh, to cry and to heal. The sound, consisting of rock, pop and electronic elements, is the result of collaboration with professionals from different musical genres, who give their narratives their unique form of expression. Eala is the break with safe choices that still feel wrong and the removal of a mask of externally imposed expectations.

Eala made her debut at the end of 2023 with the socio-critical single "Rauchen ist tödlich" and shortly afterwards released the four-part YouTube live session "Leergut Sessions", in which a total of twelve instrumentalists were involved. This was followed by support shows for artists such as Rian, Paula Carolina, Marlo Grosshardt and Pantha as well as her first festival appearances. In July 2024, she and her band won third place in the Udo Lindenberg Foundation's Panic Prize. At the end of August, she finally released her latest single "Weißwein", which catapulted her Spotify listener numbers from 800 to 2400.
