In the organizer's words:

May 23 is "HONOR DAY" - the birthday of our Basic Law.

We celebrate this outside on the Bille.
Not with speeches, but with paper boats.

Children and adults fold and paint small boats, write their wishes on them and create a large wish sail together.

Each boat carries a message - for peace, for more trees or simply for a really good summer.

At the end, three boats are selected and awarded a prize.

And you can try out what paddling feels like in the canoe simulator.

Just come along and join in.

Location:
- Open air (weather permitting, BOOT e.V. website will keep you informed).

Our terrain is natural and mostly gravel.

Arrival:
It's best to leave your car at home - there are hardly any parking spaces in the district. Come relaxed by bus or city bike:
- Bus 112 to "Osterbrookplatz"
- Bus 130 to "Braune Brücke"
- City bike station "Osterbrookplatz"

Please do not bring your own snacks - our café has everything your heart desires. With every drink, crêpe, galette and ice cream you support our association. Thank you!
