With 107 symphonies, Joseph Haydn not only left behind an impressive number, but also decisively shaped the genre. Mozart, Beethoven, Brahms and Mahler - they all build on the foundations laid by Haydn. With three of his favorite symphonies, Gürzenich conductor Andrés Orozco-Estrada invites you on a special journey of discovery - and takes you into the engine room of the orchestra. In informal discussion concerts, you will hear and see how music is created, how it is honed in the rehearsal process - and perhaps the audience will even have a say in one or two interpretations. An invitation to all those who want to experience classical music in a different way: approachable, exciting and full of the joy of discovery.
