In this podcast, the two presenters Tim Koschwitz and Djamil Deininger draw lots before each episode to determine who has to represent the pro and who the con position. In doing so, they deliberately force themselves out of their own echo chambers and opinion bubbles - and are only committed to the best arguments.

At a time when debates are often hardened, they want to overcome the division and enable genuine listening again: honestly, openly, respectfully and with goodwill. Each episode focuses on a current topic - from politics and society to the environment and mobility to everyday issues that affect us all.

Especially when it comes to controversial issues, we tend to reflexively anchor ourselves in our own opinions. This podcast deliberately breaks with this pattern and shows how a constructive culture of debate can work.
