Finger painting is an ancient East Asian technique of ink painting that originated in China and came to Japan in the 18th century.
Thorsten Schirmer, professor of art at China's West Anhui University, offers a theoretical and practical introduction to this special technique.
Participants will learn to paint directly with their fingers on paper without brushes- a direct, physical expression of art.
