ELEKTROKOWSKY Feat. Dodokay

In the organizer's words:

In 2023, Reutlingen-based electro band Elektrokowski and Swabian comedian Dodokay have teamed up to answer a question that no one has asked: Does anyone actually need electronic music with Swabian vocals?

Since the formation has been active on all music platforms and on stage, the question has been answered with a clear "yes". Because the fact is that the electro genre and the Swabian dialect have so much in common that a combination is only a logical consequence: both can do everything from sparse to lush. Both can convey a mood clearly and with few means and, if necessary, turn 180 degrees in the middle. And both are a matter of taste.

This band sets out to show that Swabian lyrics are neither synonymous with comedy, nor that they have to be about Kehrwoche, Maultaschen or yellow sacks. These four guys take their dialect out of the parish hall and lead it boldly towards the dancefloor, where - admittedly unexpectedly - it cuts an obachene figure! The cauldron always smokes, like a pig!
