ELSA Release Tour 2025 – Jazz/Blues/Singer-Songwriter

ELSA is the band around singer Elsa Steixner, born and raised in Vienna, whose music spans an arc between jazz/blues and the most intimate facets of singer-songwriting. Strongly influenced by the urgency of artists such as Nina Simone and Abdullah Ibrahim as well as the compositional diversity and sophistication of songwriters such as Paul Simon and Joni Mitchell, a foundation of jazz, folk and RnB emerges from which the idiosyncratic, always inviting compositions of the band ELSA develop. This embracing of tradition, combined with a curious and attentive view of the present, lends the music a timelessness without diminishing its topicality.

ELSA's debut album "A Day On Solid Ground" was released by Hoanzl Austria in spring 2023. The band is currently working on their second album with producer David Furrer.
