Berlin is always worth a trip, says Emil's mother. She puts him on the train with a bouquet of flowers for his grandmother, a suitcase and 140 marks. There is great horror when the money is gone at the Zoological Garden, as is the strange man in the hat ... Emil sets off in pursuit across Berlin and a whole gang of boys help him. Embedded in the most improbable of all frame stories, the COMEDIA Theater team retells this classic.
