After the exceptional young artist Emma Rawicz made such a successful debut on European stages with CHROMA, including a sold-out concert at Stadtgarten 2024, she remains stylistically true to her home, modern jazz, in her current project INKYRA, but allows for musical influences and inspirations from different genres such as rock, fusion and singer-songwriting. The result is a completely unique new music that can unfold in any performance environment.
INKYRA's music is made up of effortlessly sing-along melodies, and as with most of Emma's music, craft and sophistication are ever present in what she does, but never at the expense of joyful energy that is so infectious to the audience. The music is characterized by breathtaking solos and virtuosic improvisations by the individual band members. Collective improvisations emerge from infectious grooves and the band is not afraid to push boundaries in any genre, with an adventurous and creative spirit that is so characteristic of Emma's musical spectrum.
