Erneuerbare Energien verteidigen - Demo am 18.04.

We all have basic needs: A warm home, affordable mobility and a healthy planet for all our future lives. All of this is now at stake. The CDU/CSU party, led by Economics Minister Katherina Reiche, is putting the brakes on the expansion of renewable energies for the profits of the oil and gas lobby. This is shocking, as fossil fuels are already threatening our security. Russia's war of aggression, the threats over Greenland, the war in the Middle East and escalating energy prices show us that oil and gas make us dependent and vulnerable to blackmail by autocrats, while renewables democratize the energy supply, permanently reduce the price of electricity in these crisis-ridden times and represent a key response to the climate crisis.

It is time for us all to join forces to defend the energy transition! Together with Campact, Greenpeace, WWF, Deutsche Umwelthilfe, GermanZero, Germanwatch and many others, we are calling for nationwide demonstrations on Saturday, April 18!
