PICK OF THE DAY Festivals
In the organizer's words:

FAC Festival 2026

"The gatekeepers, the so-called legends, Ya boys gonna let the girls play?", sang Dream Wife last year at the FAC Festival and the question echoes, so we're doing it again - louder, more diverse and more explosive!

The FAC Festival sees itself as a challenge to cis-male dominance on stage: A loud FAC (fuck) in the direction of all the gatekeepers in the event industry! What better way to do this than with a 1-day festival featuring outstanding FLINTA* artists.

The FAC festival combines musical acts and networking this time with a line-up of hip hop, noise rock, grunge rock and punk and to top it all off, we'll unite our voices to form the big FAC choir and take the stage. Because we need more space for FLINTA* on stage!

Line-up

ŞeydaKurt has worked for Zeit Online and Deutschlandfunk Kultur as well as for podcasts, including the award-winning production "190220 - Ein Jahr nach Hanau". In 2021, she published her bestseller "Radikale Zärtlichkeit. Why love is political", in 2023 the bestseller "HASS. On the power of a resistant feeling". Now she has written her first novel. In "Zeit der Monster", Şeyda Kurt asks what opportunities lie in the disintegration of all orders, between furious epic and the most colorful pop, between existential opera and the warmest soap opera.

Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys is an art-pop band characterized by its openness to sonic transformations. The project was founded in 2015 by frontwoman Lucy Kruger - a South African-born singer-songwriter and guitarist - and took on its distinctive form after moving to Berlin in 2018. The band's performances are driven by the close, intuitive interplay between Liú Mottes (guitar), Jean-Louise Parker (viola), Gidon Carmel (drums) and Andreas Bonkowski (bass). Their passionate and conscious musicality is reminiscent of Sonic Youth, PJ Harvey and Nick Cave & The Bad Seeds. If they're on your playlist, Lucy Kruger & The Lost Boys definitely belong there too!

Snotty, punky, heavy - 24/7 Diva Heaven are musical ambassadors for equality and empowerment, making them the perfect choice for the FAC Festival line-up. With their mixture of grunge, punk and rock, they have already performed on the Schleusenbühne at the Breminale and supported Team Scheisse on their FLINTA* Only Tour. We are delighted that they are now also gracing the Kesselhalle.

The young Berlin rapper Wa22ermann is an absolute "must-see" live and an integral part of the German festival landscape. Like no other, Wa22ermann knows how to combine genres and not be held back by predetermined boundaries. From her first releases, bursting with self-confident rhymes and fat 808s, to her first EP, which skillfully combines techno and rap, to jazzy samples, oriental guitars and boom-bap beats on her EP released in July 2024 - Wa22ermann knows how to mix up the genre.

With Pony Tyler in the FLINTA* line-up, we want to bundle the energy accumulated over the evening and unite it into one big choir! Whether it's "Wrecking Ball" by Miley Cyrus, "Herz an Herz" by Blümchen or "Total Eclipse of The Heart" by Bonnie Tyler - with mass karaoke and gold sprints, the audience itself becomes the headliner of the evening.

All genders are welcome! The festival is explicitly open to all genders, because only if everyone is on board can we change the structures sustainably!
