Fahrradkurs für Erwachsene

The city's "FahrRad in Aachen" campaign offers a course for inexperienced cyclists and beginners.

The Mobility and Transport Department of the City of Aachen is running a number of events as part of this year's VHS program. In this course, you can refresh your riding experience or learn to ride a bike from scratch.

Practical exercises strengthen safer, more efficient riding: Sitting position, braking, cornering and city traffic. Traffic rules are taught and tips for safe behavior as a cyclist and pedestrian are given. A bike check shows how maintenance and safety checks work. The course is free of charge and takes place over two afternoons, from 16:30 - 19:30.
