The KIMIKO Isle of Campus is back and transforms the RWTH Campus Melaten into the epicenter of progressive pop culture. With a top-class line-up that combines national heavyweights with international insider tips, the festival makes a clear statement for the music landscape in North Rhine-Westphalia.

The line-up: relevance on five stages

Over three days, KIMIKO will play a total of five stages and cover the entire spectrum from uncompromising hip-hop to driving indie and innovative electro sounds. The 2026 program underlines the festival's claim not only to entertain, but also to present the pioneering artists of the moment.

The 2026 highlights:

• Rap & Urban: With OG Keemo, Audio88 & Yassin, Chapo102, OK KID and PA69, some of the most influential voices in current German rap are coming to Aachen.
• "Applaus, Applaus": Sportfreunde Stiller are back and will be gracing KIMIKO with their greatest hits and a new album.
• International focus: Acts such as Deki Alem (SWE), Mind Enterprises (IT), Bonaparte, Yin Yin (NL), NAFT (BE), The Magic Mumble Jumble (NL), Cinnamon Gum (POL), Cordoba78 (AT) and Boko Yout (SWE) bring European impulses to the Campus Boulevard.
• Newcomers & pop culture: With Levin Liam, RAUM27, Millenium Kid, Mola, anaïs, Lara Hulo, Soffie, Vandalisbin, Magdalena Wawra, Emma Rose, herbst, PRINCIPESS and Das Beat, the festival shows its flair for fresh, relevant sounds.
• Electronic & Zeitgeist: Organic and driving music from electronic artists such as Kid Simius, pølaroit, Garbage Drummer After Cooking, Konfusia and many more round off the festival atmosphere.

"Celebrating the Culture of Tomorrow": more than just concerts

While the music sets the pace, the CCT.square provides the depth of content that characterizes KIMIKO. Music and innovation merge in the middle of the festival grounds: the area offers companies, start-ups, initiatives and research projects a platform for exchange and participation. Between concerts, visitors can immerse themselves in future topics and experience how technology, sustainability and social issues are shaping the culture of tomorrow.
