Familientag. Pop Art! Kunst aus Krempel?

In the organizer's words:

This friends' family day at the Museum Ludwig will be colorful, loud and surprising - we will immerse ourselves in the world of Pop Art!

During guided tours for young and old, families will discover together how everyday objects, packaging or comic pictures suddenly became art in the 1960s. They also learn how artists such as Andy Warhol, Roy Lichtenstein and Yayoi Kusama completely redefined the concept of art - with bright colors, unusual materials and a large dose of social criticism. What is art - and who actually decides? These questions are as relevant today as they were then!

In addition to the guided tour, a colorful program awaits you: a museum quiz on your own, creative hands-on activities in the studio and great prizes ensure fun and variety for the whole family. Come along - Pop Art puts you in a good mood and makes you think!

The program is aimed at families with children aged between 6 and 10.
