Fashion upcycling in Japanese - Boro&Sashiko

A creative, sustainable fashion refreshment for your spring/summer wardrobe. Using the centuries-old Japanese art of embroidery, you can repair or enhance textiles visibly and aesthetically or develop individual patches for your clothes. Textile design and sustainable design go hand in hand here, which is also reflected in the choice of location. The workshop is organized by "RE-MAKE by raumKoerper" and takes place in the inspiring rooms of "Designdirektive UG". Suitable for beginners.

What you can expect:

• Expert instruction and individual guidance
• Learning the basic Sashiko stitches with direct access to practical implementation
• Work with original Sashiko needles and yarns
• Exchange with other creative participants
• A selection of colored yarns
• A large selection of fabric remnants
• Developing your own patches and patterns
• Use of sashiko needles and templates on site
