This event is part of the Hammer Summer Festival.
One cello. Many worlds.
A warm tone floats off, then a second - and suddenly beats roll underneath. With a few pedals, Felix transforms each line into a new layer: the deep humming below, shimmering melodies above, in between driving rhythms that make you nod your head.
The journey goes from classical elegance to jazz corners, turns briefly to hip-hop grooves and ends up with moments that seem almost cinematic. Sometimes driving, sometimes quiet - always immersive.
You don't need to know anything, just listen. The cello tells the rest: soft arcs, crisp accents, little hooks that stick. When the layers are superimposed, it sounds big - and yet remains very close.
Perfect for anyone who loves strings, likes beats or is simply curious about what's happening with an instrument. Set your ear to "discover" - the evening will do the rest.
Put your head down, give your ears the stage.
