The legendary Festival of Lights is coming to the Bavarian capital for the first time, transforming historic buildings such as the State Library into breathtaking works of light art. For five nights, you can experience spectacular 3D projections that bring Munich's landmarks to life for free.

The Festival of Lights Munich takes place from September 9-13, 2025 from 20:00-23:00 at Marienplatz, Odeonsplatz and Ludwigstraße. Experience light, art and music and magical moments in Munich's city center.
