Filmscreening "Surf on, Europe!"

The Young European Federalists (JEF) & the Europa-Union Saxony (EUD) invite you

to the film screening of "Surf on, Europe!" at the Unikino in Leipzig or the Thalia Kino in Dresden:

They are torn between the freedom of the waves and the boundaries of society: Majid, a kitesurfing instructor in Tarifa, longs for his family in Morocco, who are stuck there due to visa restrictions. Margaux organizes the first LGBTQ-friendly surf festival in Europe in Biarritz. And Rosy, a Northern Irish surfboard shaper, searches for stability in the midst of a deeply divided community. SURF ON, EUROPE! explores Europe's promise of freedom and the ongoing challenges that threaten it.

In cooperation with Europa-Haus Leipzig/europe direct, we are looking forward to showing this exciting film about Europe's promise of freedom and its challenges.
