Finisage „32 Years after human being“

In the organizer's words:

"32 Years after human being" by Oliver Wolf

Oliver Wolf, born in Mannheim in 1981, discovered his passion for photography in 2010. Just one year later, he set up his own business as an artist and photographer. In 2022, his work "32 Years after human being" was awarded the audience award for photography at Art Stage Bad Bellingen.

This exhibition takes us on a fascinating journey that takes us both 32 years into the past and into the future. The images seem as if time has stood still. They were taken in 2018 in the area around Chernobyl - a region that has been largely abandoned by human civilization since the 1986 disaster. Although the images are rooted in the past, they also open up a perspective for the future. They radiate hope- both for nature and for ourselves. They remind us that we have a responsibility to act sustainably in order to give this earth a chance to regenerate.

To mark the 40th anniversary of the disaster on Sunday, April 26, 2026, the artist is offering the opportunity to bring the themes and messages of this series into focus in an impressive way. All interested parties are cordially invited. Free admission.
