Jazz, contemporary classical music, noise, improvised music, folk, hardcore, electronics - all these genres can be assigned to the Swedish large-scale ensemble Fire! Orchestra. Led by saxophonist and composer Mats Gustafsson (The Thing) and bassist Johan Berthling (Fire! Trio), the orchestra presents its latest project WORDS: a journey through beauty, energetic passages and masterful musicality. Great improvisation, groove, excitement and a constantly evolving line-up of top musicians.

The Fire!Orchestra has been known to Cologne audiences since its acclaimed concert with the program "Echoes" at the Cologne Jazzweek 2024.
