Fotoausstellung "Together in transit"

In the organizer's words:

Vernissage 01.03.2026 1 pm, interested parties are cordially invited

We meet each other on the streets of this world, often without even realizing it. A fleeting glance, a movement, a moment - and yet each of these moments tells us something about all of us. The photographs in this exhibition capture such shared moments in the movement of life: scenes from everyday urban life in which the human is revealed - quietly, accidentally, honestly.
The pictures were taken in different cities and countries, but they speak a common language. They tell of closeness and distance, of loneliness and belonging, of dignity and everyday life. Here, the street becomes a mirror: it does not show the foreign, but the familiar in the other.

Uwe Merker and Kristin Peter came up with the idea for this exhibition because they both love street photography and traveling. As they enjoy showing each other photos from their respective journeys, they came up with the idea of organizing a joint exhibition of people from different parts of the world.
"Together in transit" shows different sub-themes, some specialties of being on the road together. These are, for example, "At first glance" - the first glance in street photography or "Shared Paths" - common paths of humans and animals and some more - let yourself be surprised!
