In the organizer's words:
As part of the exhibition "Fragile - Two Views", a short film evening will take place at Empire Zero One on Thursday, September 11 from 7:00 pm.
In addition to some selected videos by Nikolas Müller, the short film program (approx. 60 min) curated by Nicole Rebmann brings together other cinematic voices that challenge perception. Nicole Rebman (KFFK Short Film Festival Cologne, Stuttgarter Filmwinter and others) will lead through the evening in conversation with Nikolas Müller.
From documentary introspection to animated nightmares, from artistic self-positioning to AI-generated grotesques - these films explore boundaries. Personal stories, political reflections and surreal imagery intertwine to create a dense, multi-layered experience. Space is given to discomfort in the face of an increasingly boundless reality.
The short film evening is part of the exhibition "Fragil - zwei Ansichten" and is sponsored by the Cultural Office of the City of Cologne and the Cologne-Ehrenfeld district council.
Free admission, a donation is requested.
